CIC Gives Back.

In conjunction with industry events, Christians in Communications typically gives back to the communities we visit. Giving back may include service projects such as helping to sort and re-pack food for the local food bank. With the advent of the pandemic and industry events moving online, CIC will take a new approach through creating opportunities for our Members to participate in service in CIC’s (Jesus’) name.

CIC Announces a $2,000 Matching Gift Challenge

To Benefit the San Antonio Food Bank.

Since the CIC team will not travel to San Antonio this year and give back in person, we will hold a fundraiser to support the San Antonio Food Bank. The CIC Board of Directors authorized a $2,000 Matching Gift Challenge and will match every dollar you give through February, 2021. For every $1 the San Antonio is gifted, 10 pounds of food is provided to those in need. Your gift will have TWICE the impact!

CIC invites you to participate in the San Antonio Food Bank Fundraiser.
More Opportunities to Serve
In addition, CIC has partnered with Feeding America. To participate, follow these steps...
  • Check the Feeding America list for a location near you.
  • Download the Letter/Talking Points to share with your Feeding America location.
  • Identify a date and how you will serve.
  • Take photos to share on the CIC Facebook page (#CICgivesback), or send to christiansincommunications100@gmail.com along with a short testimonial of your day.

 2019 TIS Volunteer Opportunity

Every year, Christians in Communications gives back to the communities we visit during The Independent Show. This year, our board members and volunteers helped to sort and re-pack over 2 tons of food at the Greater Chicago Food Bank. Thanks to the 12 volunteers who served at the Greater Chicago Food Depository on July 31.
